University of Toronto's (UofT) International Foundation Program (IFP) is unique in that it combines a conditional acceptance to the University of Toronto with intensive English language instruction and for-credit courses. The IFP is available to academically qualified international students whose English fluency scores do not meet the University of Toronto’s direct entrance requirements.

University of Toronto has diverse student body. The university encourages a healthy work-life balance and to this end, offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to get involved in extra-curriculars. IFP students are encouraged to live in student residences which given its location in the heart of downtown Toronto, gives them access to one of the most culturally diverse cities in North America. Each student residence includes a comfortable, air-conditioned room with high-speed internet access and a full meal plan.
