School Description
INTO University of Stirling works with the University of Stirling to produce unique academic pathway programmes for international students. Featuring specialist subject-specific modules as well as expert English language tuition, these programmes are designed to help international students prepare for their undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Scotland. If students fail to meet the academic requirements or IELTS level needed for direct entry to university, INTO University of Stirling helps them achieve this.
If students choose to study a pathway programme, they can progress to one of several leading Scottish universities. Students can also progress from their preparation year directly to a degree at the University of Stirling if they choose the single study plan programme. Combining preparation studies with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, the single study plan leads to a wide range of degree areas including Accounting, Biology, Big Data, Business, Computing, Economics, Environmental Science, Film, Human Resource Management, Psychology, Software Engineering and Sport Science.
The modern INTO Centre in the heart of campus opened in September 2017 and has all the facilities you’d expect from a contemporary building. INTO students previously studied in the Airthrey Castle on campus. The Centre’s classrooms contain the latest learning technology and there’s even a lecture theatre and café in the building. INTO Stirling students stay in accommodation on or near campus and have access to the University’s facilities, such as the Sports Centre and the Students’ Union.

This is a great university for Chinese international students
You'll love it. Whether its a Master course or undergraduate you should choose this campus university. The class schedules are designed over 2 semesters not 3. so its easy to travel back home on holidays. The accommodation is a quick walk to class. A campus university makes like all the better. There is the bonus of arriving from China and immediately feeling the safety of campus life rather than negotiating your surroundings in the middle of a strange city center. The scenery is amazing. There is a lake in the middle as a centerpiece to a backdrop of The Wallace Monument. The clean fresh air is great. The student support for international students is 100% focused and determined to help any incoming students. I loved every minute attending this university.

Best decision ever, I learned for life and had the time of my life!
The 1 major 2 subsidiary module for Stirling degree studies gave me a diversity and range of subjects across different fields- from arts to sciences - which would be hard to find elsewhere- something I still profit from today! Generally there was a very personal approach, tutors really knew their students and were therefore able to give them individual advice of where their strenghts lay and which points to work on.We were encouraged to develop and freely express our own views, while maintaining an objective view and listen to other opinions and theories. Special thanks to Richard Kilborn, Dr. John Izod, Dan Mac Loud, Mike Cormack, Otto Karolyi and a very special thanks to the staff of the ACCESS course without whom I would never have been there.
