School Description

Sydney Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT) diploma programs are offered in Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Information Technology, Media and Communication. Successful completion of the Diploma Program leads to the second year of Bachelor’s degree from Western Sydney University, Sydney City Campus. Students who successfully complete the SIBT Foundation Program are guaranteed a place in their preferred diploma program.

SIBT students have access to student spaces, a personalised academic environment, libraries, and a range of support services. Additionally, students can choose from a variety of accommodation options to suit their individual lifestyle and budget.

Students are provided the option to select three subjects out of four elective units namely: Understanding Crime and Criminality, Language as Communication, National and Global Media and Digital Media Principles. Upon successful completion of diploma in Arts, students then become eligible for entry into second year of a bachelor’s degree at Western Sydney University, Sydney City Campus.
