School Description

Fraser International College (FIC) offers Foundation Programs (UTP Stage I) that lead to Undergraduate Pathway Programs (UTP Stage II) in Business Administration, Computing Science, Engineering Science, Arts and Social Sciences. UTP Stage II is equivalent to the first year of Simon Fraser University (SFU) Bachelors Degree. UTP Stage II provides the foundation to study Economics, English, International Studies, Political Science, Psychology, Linguistics and Criminology. The successful completion of UTP Stage II leads to year two of SFU Bachelors degree program.

The successful completion of the Pre-Master’s Program guarantees direct entry into SFU’s Master's program. FIC offers a range of accommodation options including on-campus, off-campus and homestay (living with a local family). FIC students can access student services, recreational and athletic facilities and programs available at SFU's campuses.

Second term modules include Business Ethics, Data and Decisions, Managerial Economics, Managing People, Financial Management and Financial/Managerial Accounting. Third term modules include Marketing, Managing Information Systems, Leadership & Teamwork, Negotiations, Managing a Globalized Workforce and Managing Global Enterprises. Fourth term modules include Operations, Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity in Business and Business Strategy. Upon Successful completion of the pathway programme, students become eligible for entry into relevant professional master’s programme at Simon Fraser University.
