School Description

Queen’s University Belfast (Queen’s) is home to over 17,600 students. The INTO Center at Queen’s offers students an alternative path to university-level degrees. Upon successful completion of the International Foundation program, students are eligible to enroll in the first year of a bachelor’s degree program. Similarly, completion of International Year One leads to direct entry into year 2 of a bachelor’s degree program. Students can choose from a range of bachelor’s degrees including Anthropology, Criminology, and Microbiology. Successful completion of the Graduate Diploma leads to a variety of master’s degrees such as Finance, Economics, and Politics.

At Queen’s, the INTO Center is located in the heart of the campus, with modern facilities such as the Learning Resource Center, the McClay Library, a film studio, and state-of-the-art classrooms. Students can also engage in social activities with over 200 clubs and societies, sports activities, and events organized by the Students’ Union. Moreover, the center ensures that students are supported in every way, through services for academic skills development, health, counseling, and career guidance. Students enrolled in pathway courses are offered well-equipped and facilitated on-campus accommodation at the Elms Student Village and The Willow Walk apartments.

    This Academic English program is designed to equip students with critical, practical, and analytical knowledge of the fundamentals of English. The program offers courses that focus on three major objectives; reading, writing, and literature. In order to apply, students need a minimum IELTS score of 3.0.     The INTO Queen’s Center offers international pathway students the merit-based Regional Scholarship. Additionally, students progressing to a degree program at Queen’s after the completion of a pathway program are offered the University Progression Scholarship worth up to £3,000.
