School Description

Florida State University was founded in the year 1851 and was given 'university' status in 1947. FSU has a total international student enrollment of 2,200 from over 130 different countries. In 2016, FSU's 1600-acre campus was ranked in the top 10 among the most beautiful campuses in the US, according to College Magazine.

FSU’s Pathway to Master’s Degree program is designed to recruit excellent international students to its masters' degree programs. Recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field study two semesters at FSU. This Pathway program provides students with the opportunity to complete prerequisite classes for graduate study, become accustomed to the U.S. educational system, meet and work with faculty members, and be better prepared to be admitted to and succeed in an FSU graduate program. From 2013-2018, 98% of the students who completed the Pathway program and applied to an FSU master’s degree program were admitted.
