School Description
Edith Cowan College (ECC) is part of Edith Cowan University (ECU), the second largest University in Western Australia. ECC offers Diplomas in Commerce, Communications and Creative Industries, Hotel Management, Computing/IT, Engineering Studies, and Health Studies. Students who have completed year 11 can join Diploma (year 1) which leads to Diploma year 2 (equal to year 1 bachelors at ECU). Students who have completed year 12 can join Diploma (year 2) which leads to the second year of the relevant Bachelors Degree Program at ECU. The Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) in Business and IT at ECC is a one-semester non-award program that equips students with the requirements needed for entry into master’s degrees in the School of Business and Law at ECU.
ECC students have access to on-campus accommodation at the Mount Lawley Student Village and various off-campus accommodation options; ECC provides support to students who need assistance with accommodation. In addition to the facilities provided by ECC, students at the college also have access to the facilities available on the university campus including: free WiFi, Computer Labs, Science Lab, Library, Cafeteria, Sports Centre, Medical Centre, Transport Services, Student Counsellors, Campus Security, and ATM machines.

The Accommodation Scholarships are available to ECC students wishing to stay at the ECU Mount Lawley Student Village. ECC also offers a 10-week English scholarship to international students who combine English with a Diploma program at ECC followed by a degree at ECU. Additionally, ECC shares a partnership with Navitas. The Navitas Academic Merit Scholarship is awarded each semester to the most outstanding results from two students across all programs at a Navitas Pathway College or Managed Campus. The Navitas family bursary is awarded in situations where two or more students from the same family study at a Navitas institution.
