School Description

CRIC offers undergraduate and postgraduate pathway programs to students who may have been away from their studies for a period of time, come from different academic environments, require additional English language training and/or don't meet the entry requirements to enter at a university level. Upon completion of the first year or Stage 2 of their undergraduate pathway, CRIC students seamlessly progress to the second year of their chosen degree at ARU. These students can choose from different degrees in Architecture, Art and Design, Business, Communications and Humanities, Computing and Technology, Education, Engineering and Built Environment, Law, Medical and Life Sciences, Nursing, Optics, Social Work and Social Policy.

CRIC offers its students excellent facilities like science labs, 4 university libraries including a digital library, recording studios, an eye clinic, counselling rooms, a theatre, art galleries, a mock courtroom for law students, a gym, swimming pool, and a multimedia language centre. CRIC offers both on campus and off campus accommodation options in Cambridge and Chelmsford to its students.

    Foundation Program: The Architecture pathway program is designed to equip students with the foundation they require to pursue a career in architecture or a similar discipline. The program explores the technical and management aspects of designing buildings. On the successful completion of the Foundation Program in Architecture, students progress to their first year of BSc (Hons) in Architecture or Architectural Technology from Anglia Ruskin University.

    Students can join the Architecture Student Society 'Archifunk' and have the opportunity to be a part of the Cambridge Association of Architects.

    Financial Aid & Scholarship

    CRIC shares a partnership with Navitas. The Navitas Academic Merit Scholarship is awarded each semester to the most outstanding results from two students across all programs at a Navitas Pathway College or Managed Campus. The Navitas family bursary is awarded in situations where two or more students from the same family study at a Navitas institution. Students are not required to apply for the scholarship as it is awarded based on academic performance, so all students are eligible.
