School Description

Norwich University (NU) is home to nearly 4500 students from over 22 countries around the world. As one of the oldest private military college in the U. S, NU offers a wide range of bachelor's degree programs including engineering, business, communications, nursing, geology, computer science, international studies, and languages. NU encourages its students to learn more by doing and working collaboratively with other students in solving real-world problems. Education at Norwich is designed to give the students a career, and a competitive advantage over their peers through interdisciplinary learning. Students at NU can join the Corps of Cadets where they are taught military knowledge and skills while embracing Norwich’s distinctive customs and traditions, thereby challenging themselves physically, mentally, and morally. NU's housing options include the barracks and residence halls for its military and civilian students. More than 50 students clubs and organizations are available for students to engage in actively. Several services and facilities to enhance the college experience for the students are provided such as a bookstore, cadet uniform store, health center, swimming pool, radio station, and library.
