New College of Florida Honors College

School Description

The foundation of the school has soil mixed with soil from Harvard to symbolize the ideal standards of the two schools. The Pritzker Marine Biology Research Center has seven research labs and over 100 aquariums. Recently, the college opened five new residence halls, added a Black Box Theater to the Hamilton Student Center, and built a new Academic Center for classes and faculty offices, which the U.S. Green Building Council awards "Gold LEED" for its sustainability.
