Fabulous for mature studentsYYAs a mature student going straight into the final year of the degree, I was a little apprehensive as to how I might be accepted by the group. I needn't have worried as all the academic staff, as well as my classmates, were extremely supportive and friendly. YSJ is a fabulous small University and have had a lot of investment over the last 15 years or so. State of the art facilities yet it's small enough to be a very friendly place to study. I still think fondly of YSJ, even though it's nearly ten years since I finished there.

A real gem of a UniversityYYI attended YSJ in the Early 2000's. The Campus has come a long way from what It was when I started - It looks great now, historical with it's Quad building and modern with it's new Library and sports facilities. I remember the staff were all very helpful and during my History degree here, I found the Tutors more than capable and knowledgeable about their chosen areas of specialisation. For anyone looking to attend the University for an experience of a charming city, and equally charming University I would highly recommend coming here to study, especially if you are a foreign student looking for more of a "English experience" outside of London.
