            1986-1990, Bachelor's Degree

Preparing future leaders locally with a global perspective

UOW has always had a multicultural student population, but this diversity and integration also cuts through their degree programs. My Honors BA in International Relations, with courses in Political Science, Economics, History and languages has helped me build the international career I dreamt of, with corporate, government and NGO work experience that has taken me to 50 countries around the world, far from the U of W and my home town of Windsor that remains close to my heart, as do the many friendships forged there.

            School of Social Work

The Social Work and Women's Studies double major is a great program, one of the only programs that offers a placement in 4th year giving students the opportunity to gain hands on experience in the field before graduation.

Education, Alumni and Experiences - Building on a solid foundation.

Choosing to transfer from London England to the University of Windsor for my undergraduate degree resulted in a better outcome than expected. Not only, did I earn a credible education but also had the opportunity to put it into practice through active participation in student politics and a breath of engaging student forums. The most valuable experience gained was an opportunity to work & live with students and faculty from around the globe - it truly helps build perspective for a global & diverse economy and spurs thinking beyond oneself. My education and experiences at the University of Windsor have definitely provided the foundation for my future.
