As a current MBA student ,One thing that I would suggest to consider is the Gustavson's different approach for specializations. Our school is not a place for people who want to take lots of finance or accounting courses and become a CFA or CPA with the help of those courses. If that is the case you should go for a specialized master degree instead of MBA.Our program tries to train people who can look at the big picture and integrate all the concepts like Finance,Economic,HR,... and if you had an undergraduate degree in a business related area I wont suggest you to come here because in my opinion this program is great for people with other backgrounds including Engineering ,IT ,Law,....YYPeople usually wont have a problem finding jobs after the program but again it really depends on the person. It got a decent reputation and is becoming more famous every year due to the quality of program and its alumni. YYI would say the MBA program got one of the best academic panels in Canada.YYIn the end if you wanna get a high quality education with a good chance of connecting with business society and of course low tuition fee, it is a great place to be.

          • One thing to know before attending is that they have a really great mentoring program to put you in touch with business people in the community. This is something I would encourage you to look into. YYDisclaimer: I am on the mentor list at UVic's Gustavson's School of Business.

          • It's a great school. Their MBA program (from which I'm an alumnist) was ranked top 5 in Canada last year. YYYou will enjoy a beautiful city, great weather and nature while receiving a good education. YYJob prospects for graduates are good.YYBest of luck.
