          • 1979-1987, BSCE

Graduated in 1987. Many of the things happening now are what we were doing in the lab then.YYThe real attraction in hindsight, taken for granted then, is the tours, shows, and events UT attracts due to it's size: 1983-84 Chevrolet Racing Team prior to the release of the 'new' corvette body style brought one to the Mechanical Engineering wind tunnel for a demonstration. Unbelievable. Hard to top that. Goodbye Stingray.YYI toured the 10Mw student fission reactor which at the time was on-campus, beneath the Chemistry building I recall. They also have a fusion reactor Tokomak I think, that does not have tours.YOwen Corpening
