USD is a high quality state university!YYUSD is a small state institution of higher education where the student to professor ratio is small enough to truly make a difference in the quality of education that graduates have received compared to larger state universities.

USD Prepared MeYYUSD prepared me for what ended up being a successful 30+ year career in federal law enforcement. The CJ and Soc Programs at the time had the necessary curriculum to prepare me and others for a law enforcement career. The small university setting and the faculty were focused on the students and their future success. Go Yotes

Great Education ValueYYA great school that has more to offer than what you would expect from a small population state. There were many opportunities to participate in a wide variety of activities. The education I received prepared me to immediately jump right in to work situations that were, and still are, relevant.
