            Strong Programs

"I had a great experience in several programs including a remarkable experience in the world language department. The study abroad program to Austria was one of the most powerful educational experiences I have ever had! Also notable are the choral and experiential learning programs: both are top notch."

University of Maine... Solid Engineering Foundation

"University of Maine gave me a solid mastery of mechanical engineering fundamentals, that in turn has enabled me to lead and continue learning across seven different industries. UM prepared me for graduate school in Aerospace Eng at Penn State, and gave me the confidence to succeed in a "bigger pond". Its a large enough place for young folks to find their independence while small enough to give students a unique and rewarding learning experience..."

            Best school for international students

"I absolutely loved my experience at UMaine! I met so many friends while at UMaine from all over the world. The quality of education and facilities were top notch. Most importantly, I will always have fond memories from UMaine for a lifetime. The campus is one of the most active in terms of extra-curricular activities, and if you're an international student, you will appreciate the warm international student community. Also, if you've never lived in Maine before, after going to school there, you will fall in love with Maine and will want to visit every summer :)"
