School Description

The college started as College if Business Administration in 1942 with the University of Houston. It was renamed in the honor of businessman Ted Bauer, who donated a sum of $40 million in 2000. It is one of the most diverse institutes in US having students from 139 countries. The institute has produced some notable alumni who have also donated generously to thee college. Some of its alumni are Steve McCorkle (CEO, Agricultural Waste Solutions), and Marvin Odum (President of Shell Oil Company).

Bauer College of Business. Having previously attended junior college and after leaving active duty in 1972, I was able to obtain my BBA degree in 1975. Subsequently, I obtained by MBA degree in 1975 from UHCL.
