Best school to show a potential employer you can balance life with work.

Going to Hawaii - Manoa will expose you to many Asian & Polynesian cultures where you will learn to find balance in all aspects of life. If you are easily distracted, DO NOT GO TO SCHOOL HERE as over 80% of the friends I made my freshman year had flunked out by the middle of my sophomore year. You have world class beaches and surf as well as hiking and a fantastic nightlife all begging you to enjoy them daily instead of your studies. By graduating from here you are showing a potential employer that you can handle all of life's distractions while still getting the job done. One more thing to consider is that "highs in the mid-80s lows in the mid-70s" is the legitimate weather you will have 300+ days a year... it's awesome.

Cultural Anthropology & Comparative Religion - strong @ UH

Having studied and taught at numerous universities in the U.S. and Japan, I can strongly endorse UH, particularly the departments of Anthropology (Cultural and Underwater) and Comparative Religion. Plus Hawai'i has aloha, which is lovely and unlike any other place on this planet.
