UQAC is the third largest branch of the Université du Québec. It is a French-language institution offering programs in Arts, Sciences, Business, and Engineering, as well as a courses in French as a second language via the École de la langue française et de culture québécoise.

School Description

UQAC is located in the city of Saguenay and is one of ten Université du Québec schools, a network of universities established after the Quiet Revolution to increase post-secondary education opportunities among the Francophone population. Since its foundation, UQAC has been working to expand its research level and international presence. There are currently 380 research projects underway, and over the past 20 years UQAC has formed partnerships with universities in Morocco, Lebanon, China, Senegal, Colombia, and Brazil.
