Sarah Lawrence College ....An Experience That Lasts a Lifetime Sarah Lawrence was the only out-of-state college that I applied to, and the only college that I ever wanted to attend. Attracted by its academic reputation and the quality of the faculty, small classes, having my very own Don,(anthropologist Irving Goldman!), and the opportunity to study and travel abroad, was a dream come true. I loved the work, the international and diverse in-every-way-imaginable student-body, lively discussions in class and socially with students and faculty, learning what it meant to be an independent person (home was three-thousand miles away in California), I could not have been more pleased with my Sarah Lawrence experience and education. It affirmed and developed qualities that have remained important to me as an individual, an independent business person, and world citizen. Treat others as you would treat yourself, having a sense of humor will always serve you well, and even though you can't change the wind, you can re-set your sail. If I had to do it over again, my choice would be the same, without reservation

SLC opens the minds and hearts of students with a rigorous intellectual approach to asking questions as every perspective is discussed in all areas of study - Best possible college experience. Highly recommend. SLC gave me the tools to succeed in life. The learning approach at SLC honed my ability to think outside the box, encouraging the creativity and confidence to be unique.

I got to study all kinds of subjects that weren't available in high school, and learned that I can set and achieve personal goals as well as completing class assignments. The number of professors and having a four year connection with one of them was wonderful. Our classmates still communicate on a regular basis via a listserve - great that we continue to share and learn together!
