      • Testimony
        1993-1995, Theatre Arts

While attending SHSU, I finally got the feeling of equality. There were many events that brought everyone of ALL races together. I am not sure that other Universities do that, but it was an amazing feeling!

      • Testimony
        2001-2003, BBA, General Business

Sam Houston is a great place to learn. Professors aren't paid to research...they are paid to teach. You don't get that at most universities. The professors genuinely care about each student and their success. Eat Em Up Kats!

      • Testimony
2011-2014, Master of Arts (M.A.), Clinical Mental Health Counseling

I graduated from the Clinical Mental Health Counseling masters program at SHSU, and can vouch for what a great program it is! As with any education, you are going to get out what you put into it-- but if you put in the effort, the professors and staff at SHSU will match your effort, challenge you in your studies, and prepare you for your future career. I am so glad I chose SHSU for my graduate degree!
