I graduated from Pacific Union College in 1982 and often think of my wonderful experience there as a student. It was there I felt the call to ministry and studied theology. My professors were amazing and I often recall the lessons learned while sitting at their feet. I currently pastor a 748 member church in Chattanooga and feel so blessed to be a servant in the Lord's vineyard.

This is usually the question I am asked when discussing education. It is funny that most people brush off PUC because they think they have heard of the school before (often confusing it with University of the Pacific, or another institution that has Pacific in it). I am proud of the education I received from PUC. Perhaps more proud of the tradition and the like minded people I got to be surrounded with during my time on the Hill. If education is important to you, PUC is up there with the finest. If it is an experience and an environment to forge you Mentally, Physically, and especially SPIRITUALLY...give PUC a go. You wont be disappointed. Paul "Big Paul" Tuivai ACA- France 1987, 1988 Student Missionary 1988 SA Social Vice President 1990 Class of 1991 (French/International Communication-French)

As a practicing nurse, teaching nursing students from several schools, I have many opportunities to experience the educational levels of the students. The students from PUC have more supervision, knowledge and compassion, which enables them to feel more confident to graduate and begin their careers. There are always the concerned questions regarding tuition and I tell them that the school will work with them to obtain finances/scholarships. I am thankful for the wonderful education I received from PUC---the best!
