Yes, no doubt you need raw talent and an eye for detail and composition to begin with, but the expertise delivered with patience by the tutors here takes that talent; directs and nurtures it and provides the student with all the tools required to succeed as a professional designer. All of this is provided in a beautiful setting with remarkable facilities. Full marks for this University!

There is practical focus on the world beyond academic study, the ethos and way the Uni is built really helps students focus their potential. This attitude is where universities need to be to meet needs of the professional world going forward and NUA is leading the way.

          • Testimony
            2003-2004, Foundation Course

I was an odd-ball, a mature student, hurt by life, happy to be immersed in art to recover, but also old enough to have engrained patterns. The tutors were sensitive to my special needs, my deep loyalty to the masters and my distance from a lot of the contemporary scene. They were hands off, but they also knew when I needed to be pushed slightly off balance to allow me to discover new patterns and enlarge my personal journey.
