World Class preparation for one seeking to be a World Class Contributor.

I chose Mills because it was one if the nation's top rated Women's College. I wanted every opportunity to receive an education without having to take a back seat to anyone. All through high school the male students seemed to get the extra push and encouragement they needed while it was ASSUMED females did not take our education seriously and would not be responsible for industry, families and or development of others. In truth, we are all of that and more. I have not regretted one moment of my 4 years at Mills.

            Quality of life.

My experience at Mills changed the quality of my life. I realized while at Mills that I could and was expected to go beyond the Bachelor's of Arts onward to graduate school and beyond. I realized this when I sought internships while still a student and had many opportunities that were generated by Mills alumna. When I say I am a product of Mills, heads still turn. I am regarded with the highest esteem. I am so proud to have been a Mills student.Portia CobbMedia Artist/Professor Film Video, Animation & New Genres at Peck School of the Arts.
