School Description

ISU is Idaho state's designated lead institution in health professions and medical education. The university, along with the Idaho National Laboratory and other Idaho universities, established the Center for Advanced Energy Studies in 2007. ISU was ranked one of the safest campuses in the U.S. in 2012 by Collegesafe website, which lists ISU as the fifth safest campus in the nation.

            I really enjoyed my time at Idaho State University. I was challenged to learn at a high level of standards which definitely helped to prepare me for my professional career. The faculty was extremely accessible and enthusiastic about their respective disciplines. There were a wide variety of classes to choose from that were interesting and enriching. The campus and landscape are beautiful and there are plenty of extra curricular activities to keep busy. It was also very affordable.
