          • Testimony
            2007-2011, Bachelor of Arts

Having graduated from Georgetown University in 2011 with a BA in English and then continuing on in Georgetown's School of Continuing Studies to get my Master's Degree in Sports Industry Management, I cannot imagine having spent a better five years of my life anywhere else. Georgetown University is one of the very few school's in the country that offers a little bit of everything. Let's begin with it's location. Being not only in the Nation's capital, but being in what many would call the best part of Washington DC, Georgetown University's location is second to none. Immersed in liveliness that M street offers with amazing restaurants, bars and shops while overlooking the scenic Potomac River is second to none. It's prestige and reputation is unparalleled. Consistently in the top 20 in Princeton Review, Georgetown is one of the most competitive schools to get into in the country. Founded in 1789, it is the oldest Catholic and Jesuit institution of higher education in the United States. Alumni include 8 former heads of state, including former US president Bill Clinton. With 7,600 undergrads and another 10,000 graduate students, the university is the perfect size of not being too big or too small. The four different undergraduate schools allow for students to specialize in higher level classes while simultaneously take electives with students who might have other interests. I would highly recommend Georgetown University!

            1981-1985, BSBA

Made friendships that have lasted decades. I had Professors that influenced me for life. Jesuits were global citizens and through education were leaders. Through this humility and global citizenship the school represents the best of the Catholic Church and America.

My four years at Georgetown helped to lay the foundation culturally, morally and educationally for a career in the international arena. I value most the wonderful influence of great role model professors and visiting educators who encouraged free thinking and service to others.
