One day, while I was in law school, the "Kewanee v Bicron" Case was being argued at the Supreme Court. So I walked over, sat in the gallery, and chatted with the attorneys after they argued. During my law school years, one classmate mentioned that he was a security guard at the Watergate during the "break-in," another classmate worked on the Watergate hearings. GW prompted me toward patent law with the school's exceptional program and proximity to the US Patent (and Trademark) Office, which molded my future work in private and corporate IP practice. Always nice to run into alumni. Three days ago I spoke on an AIPLA panel along with another GWU alumni. And, oh yes, after 4 decades, I still remember episodes from Prof Seidelson's class and could he shoot a great game of 8 ball!
