As a recent graduate of the Master of Aeronautical Science (M.A.S.) program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), Worldwide campus, I have absolutely no hesitation recommending the program or the school to anyone interested in pursuing a career in the aviation industry. Before I applied to the degree program, I worried that my lack of direct experience in the industry would prove to be a disadvantage (my career thus far has been in the semiconductor industry) but those fears were unfounded. My professors and classmates never treated me any differently but instead held me to the same high standards, and there were many occasions in each of my classes when I was uniquely positioned to contribute a non-industry perspective that enlivened the conversation and augmented their understanding of the subject matter. I completed my degree in exactly two years, which required making personal sacrifices and a laser-focused dedication to meeting the challenges of each class, but it was time well spent.

The majority of the professors have worked in the "real world" prior to becoming educators. They relate the material to real accounts that they have experienced first hand. This truly teaches the material to the students in a manner that stays with them for the rest of their lives versus memorizing material for a test and dumping afterwards.
