Edge Hill University - Master's Degree
Edge Hill University was established by a group of seven businessmen and philanthropists from Liverpool, in 1885. Its initial purpose was to serve as a teacher training college for women. The university has a vibrant campus community to covers 160 acres near Ormskirk in West Lancashire. The campus has many buildings which includes a 30 million pound sports complex.
Edge Hill University has nearly 10,000 full time students. Students can find many sports facilities located to the east of the main campus in Ormskirk. The sports centre is equipped with a swimming pool, and exercise studio, and 80 station fitness suites with in built entertainment technology. The university also has the Arts Centre which is home to the University's Performing Arts Department, and hosts many dance, music, and comedy shows.
