It is a great feeling when talking with businesses and they recognize the Drake name and are impressed with the credentials of people who attended Drake University. I had a great experience at Drake which prepared me for the business world.

Drake was the complete college package: amazing school with highly educated staff, modern facilities, diverse student body and just an all out good time! Teachers were personally invested in my success and achievements and helped to prepare me for the "real world" with knowledge and networking. But beyond that, I just had tons of fun. Don't knock Des Moines! It's a fun city, plenty to do and Drake's student body is full of active young people looking to learn but also to have fun. Best 4 years of my life!
Drake was big enough not to be small - it offered a full range of academic opportunities, professional and social organizations in a mid-sized city. But it was small enough not to be big or overwhelming - I never felt lost or "treated like a number" which is the case in many larger state universities.
