            2006-2010, B.A.

Coming from Kansas City, Kansas, I knew about 3 people when I moved up to Chicago. DePaul made sure to give me chances and abilities to learn how to meet people effectively, hosting a variety of intramural sports, extra-curricular actives, and small but developing Greek system. The wealth of classes that are offered give you a broad education, and the multiple of majors and minors really let you customize your learning. Living in the heart of the 3rd biggest city in the world can be challenging, especially for college students, but DePaul made it easy to get around and have flexible class times to accommodate for commuting. With growing film and technology schools, DePaul will continue to develop well-rounded graduates for years to come.

            2013-2015, BA Liberal Arts

LOVE, LOVE LOVE DePaul University and the School for New Learning! What a great program. I was referred by a fellow student from another school. Switching was the best thing I ever did. I really didn't feel as if I was getting anywhere at the old school and couldn't see light at the end of the tunnel. I had friends who couldn't understand why I was going back to college to get my degree, they felt I was smarter and had more life experience than the kids coming out of college today. DePaul appreciates the fact that your life experience should count for something. When I sat across the desk from my academic advisor and she told me I could easily graduate in two years I started to cry... tears of joy, of course! When I graduate in June of 2015 I will be 60 years old and proud to be a graduate of a reputable University like DePaul.

DePaul University offers a wide variety of degrees for all ages. If you are just coming out of high school, they have a traditional learning model, but if you are a student 25 years or older - they have a program called Student for New Learning (SNL) that allows you to incorporate existing learning you have received and translate into papers to receive credit. You receive credit for some of your hard work that you have already done in the workplace, so why not get credit for it? I love DePaul University! I am a Double Demon - Receiving my undergrad and currently working on my masters from DePaul. Look it up and see what they have to offer!
