School Description

Cleveland State University (CSU) was established as a state-assisted university in 1964. However, the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law's roots can be traced back to 1897 with the establishment of the Cleveland Law School. The John Marshall School of Law was founded in 1916, and in 1946, the two schools merged to form the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

Cleveland State University has over 17,000 students enrolled, with a third of CSU students being graduate students. CSU has also seen a gradual increase of international students. In 2014, there was a 15% increase in international student enrollments. The CSU campus is evolving to better accommodate the growing number of student enrollment. 1993-1996, BSCE

            Top Notch Engineering Education

I received my Bachelor of Civil Engineering from CSU in 1996. It was a great program then, and even better now with all the investment being made throughout the campus and in their facilities. If you're looking for an excellent engineering school you'll want to give CSU serious consideration.

I attended CSU from 2011-2014 while working fulltime. I was able to take a majority of my classes online. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere, students and faculty. All were very pleasant to work with. I recommend future students to check out CSU!

I highly recommend Cleveland State University! Class of 1975

I was working fulltime and going to school parttime. CSU offered the flexibility I needed as well as highly qualified faculty to help me through all my course work. I also took full advantage of their assessment center to help me focus on my career. My degree is in Labor & Industrial Relations and I am still very active in the field. I just completed my Master's degree in Human Resources down here in Columbus and thanks to CSU, I was prepared to successfully complete the program.
