Rick Gregorek, Esq.
1982-1984, Master of Arts
The Executive Management program at Claremont Graduate School (as it was named when I attended) enabled me as a young executive to apply the academic tools I had studied in undergraduate business school and in my traditional MBA program to my actual job. My company's support was terrific and I'm confident that my corporate growth was in large part due to my MA in Executive Management. I was so fortunate to have Peter Drucker as a professor. I worked in the aerospace industry for nearly two decades after achieving my MA From Claremont, then changed my career path to become an attorney. As the owner of my own law firm for nearly 18 years the Executive Management education and experience has proven invaluable.

1965-1968, Master of Fine Arts
Going to Claremont and getting into the Sculpture Program very definitely changed my life. My son had been born two years earlier- I was a young father but we traded times to teach and take care of John. We -my wife of 53 years soon to be-Sue were from good solid ranching and farming families. So to just live as a high school teacher in art - Rubidoux High at Riverside, CA (63-64-65 2years then Claremont Graduate School- Pomona MFA in Sculpture/Drawing(65-68). Between going to grad. school- teaching High School and Mt. San Antonio College and having a child -in this change of environment- was like day light to night light. We were off to a whole new world and we were leaders all the way. This is where I give Claremont the credit- all the way - it was "You" all the way. In graduate school - you already were an artist - now we have to hear something important you have to say. Oh- and I Thank God they had the wisdom to hire Angela Davis - that was good for morale.

1978-1984, Doctor of Philosophy
I recall brilliant faculty and close academic work with my professors. I had a wonderful academic experience and CGU was instrumental in advancing my career and reaching college presidency.
