I came to Hunter College in the late 80's as a foreign student, with big dreams. I felt instantly at ease in this urban campus and lived in the dorms the first year. I connected with other students from around the world and took full advantage of the services offered by the school to navigate the school and the city. I made the Dean's List and was offered a great internship at City Hall, then at the UN. These were life changing experiences and they helped me get make career choices and build my new life in NYC.
