California State University - Master's Degree

The Charter College of Education has awarded more teaching credentials in the state of California than any other public institution includes an innovative baccalaureate degree program in Urban Learning designed to train teachers for the specific demands of urban schools.

School Description

Some notable alumni include Sam Elliott, Rosario Marin, Billie Jean King and others. The original mascot of the school was the Diablo (the devil). In 1980, the new university president James Rosser adopted a new mascot, Eddie the golden eagle, designed to be more reflective of the campus' highly diverse community.
