            2001-2005, BSBA

Bowling Green State University is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I got an excellent education, that truly prepared me for a career in business. The professors impacted my life to this day - they are smart, make a connection, and bring real world experience to the table. I made life long friends and learned leadership skills by getting involved in Delta Sigma Pi. The skills that I learned in Delta Sigma Pi are valuable to this day and help me remain a productive member of my community.

Like many student today, I was a first generation college student in my family. BG recognizes the challenges and adjustments of first generation students and actively works to help individual students. Today, as a senior acquisition manager I have recruited BG Supply Chain Management students for several years. It is one of the top Supply Chain programs in the country and the quality of the students is outstanding. I have both my undergraduate degree and my MBA from BG; it was/is the best place for me!

The education at BGSU is top notch, full of interesting classes with numerous offerings that can fit easily into any schedule. The Journalism professors create a fun and engaging atmosphere in the classrooms and focus on getting students writing rather and engaging their relevant skills rather than relying on Powerpoint presentations and textbooks. The club sports offerings provide students the opportunity to compete with other big name schools as well as the ability to gain once-in-a-lifetime experiences.Rugby alone is worth it. You get to compete in a new sport that is growing in popularity and have the ability to travel the country, compete for a National Championship and even play overseas. If Journalism and rugby aren't for you, there are plenty of other strong options as well.
