Bangor University is a Welsh university in the city of Bangor in the county of Gwynedd in North Wales. The university Boasts a number of Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees. Bangor University has over 650 teaching staff based in 23 Academic Schools grouped into five Colleges ,such as the college of Arts and Humanities, Business Law,Education and Social Science, College of Natural Science, College of Health and Behavioral Sciences and the College of Physical and Applied Science.

School Description

Bangor University was established in 1884. The university was founded as a direct result of a campaign for a higher education provision in Wales in the late nineteenth century. Originally the university opened its doors as the University College of North Wales. In an old coaching Inn on the 18th October 1884 the University opened with 58 students and 10 members of staff. The Students of the university received their degrees from the University of London until the university of Wales, Bangor became one of the original constituent colleges of the university of wales.

Presently the university has over 12,000 students and 2,000 members of staff. in addition the university has over 150 Union clubs and association covering a range of interests, activities and Sports. Also the university is now ranked amoung the 55 top universities in the UK according to The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016.

            The Paradise of the Earth

            It was really hard for me to leave Bangor and go back to my home country. I was blessed that I have been surrounded with lovely and nice people. I will miss everything in Bangor. I was so lucky to live in place surrounded with beautiful mountain and sea. Not to forget the chilled and relaxed sheep :P. I have gained lots of skills after my MBA from Bangor University such as analytic skills, research skills and more. I really wish to return one day to Bangor. It is the most beautiful place in Earth.
