2011-2012, Master of Arts (M.A.), Adult and Community Education

The MA degree program in BSU's Adult and Community Education far exceeded my expectations. The experience had enhanced my career options in Higher Education, but more importantly it was the "learning to learn" perspectives that continue to transform my teaching and administrative/leadership philosophies toward improving lifelong educational experiences for students and educators alike!

My two years of graduate studies at Ball State were a real opportunity or reaffirm my vocation and passion for cities. With a great faculty team, Ball State provides a hands-on education which prepares students to be active professionals. Loved all the opportunities for learning by doing - from running camera and sound for a TV show my freshman year to managing the music for the radio station as a senior. Although I'm no longer working in media, I use the storytelling skills I learned at Ball State every day in my new profession.
