The Carr Scholarship program has allowed thousands of students to gain an education that might otherwise be impossible. Small, personable University with quality programs.

          • Testimony
            1990-1994

I majored in Computer Science. I've been writing code professionally since the day I graduated in 2001. I feel like the education I received at ASU more than prepared me for success in my field. In fact, when I was on a recruiting trip just before I graduated from ASU, I was a bit intimidated by the other recruits from "top tier" universities. So, I asked a representative from the company, "You seem to have a lot of recruits here from highly respected technical universities. Why would you include ASU students with this bunch?" He quickly corrected my thinking by saying emphatically, "We've found that ASU graduates are some of our best programmers. They solve problems creatively, and meet deadlines. We like that about ASU grads." From that moment on, I've never doubted the value of the education I received at ASU.

I went to ASU as an older "non-traditional" student. I learned so much and felt the professors took a special interest in each student, especially those willing to work hard and ask questions. I am proud to have received my BBA from ASU!
