        Family Tradition

I can't say enough to articulate what my education at AU has meant to me. I have been most grateful for a liberal arts education because it has enabled me to succeed in various venues. In today's world one rarely stays with one employer or in one type of position for a lifetime. AU developed in me the skills to adapt and flex as new opportunites presented themselves. I also am thankful for the education my two children and their respective spouses received there.

A University Dedicated to the Whole Student

Anderson University is a Christian educational environment dedicated to the development of the whole student. It seeks through intentional academic design integrated with spiritual formation to help students understand how they can be people of faith in every vocation. The faculty and staff at all levels are people trying to live out their faith and life of service as a witness to this integration. I've spent my adult life here as an administrator and teacher; I am richly blessed by what takes place in the lives of students and my peers here year after year.

I found Anderson to exceed the academic rigor of many other institutions (having served as faculty at several institutions, I feel confident of some level of accurate context). In addition, the opportunity to be part of a student community cannot be beat. With the modest enrollment size, you can can know nearly all of your classmates. There are a full range of extracurricular activities and organizations, and the campus is deeply embedded in the local community, which is large enough to offer metropolitan amenities, but small enough to be safe, and easy to navigate. I appreciated that while the faith-based nature of the institution is always present, it isn't forcefully applied, embracing a broad range of faith intensities. My time at Anderson gave me a solid launch into...
