          • Testimony
1978-1981, Bachelor of Arts, Interdisciplinary / ECE

I was more than prepared to successfully teach students Nursery through Grade 8. The warm and supportive staff excelled in their subject areas. ASC is more than an academic institution, it is a home away from home. I am still impressed by the interpersonal skills of the teaching professionals as well as the non-curricular personnel.

          • Testimony
2012-2015, Master of Arts (MA), Clinical Mental Health Counseling

I liked the program of the university, during my time there I was a distance learner and the summer intensives meeting all the people from my Cohort. Two years of intensives and activities were great and I saw places I never seen before such as Creed, Colorado and Taos, New Mexico. This program is designed to help you become aware of who you are personally and professionally. Becoming counselor is one of my dreams that I turned into reality.

          • Testimony
            1965-1969, B.A., History/Political Science

I am a 1969 graduate of Adams State. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political sicence, I attended the University of Denver College of Law, graduated from there in 1972, and am currently a legal advisor for the Colorado State Patrol. My 4 years at Adams more than prepared me for my future career. It was the most thought-provoking and engrosssing educational experience of my life ! With virtually no exception, the professors and learning environment at the school were totally focused on the student and that constantly prodded me to channel my passions so I would use my talents positively in service to others. Law School did not hold a candle to the intellectual experience that I gained attending Adams State University. I can say without hesitation, that Adams State was a place that was most serious about teaching their students. I feel that I more than got my money's worth from my time there and remember most of my experiences while attending the school, with great fondness. I would highly recommend Adams State to anyone who wants to learn and excel in their future.
