School Description

Marshall University is one of the oldest public universities in West Virginia. It has two campuses, a large 90 acre campus in Huntington and a smaller 29 acres campus in South Charleston - which is just 45 miles east of Huntington.

The city of Huntington has several libraries, restaurants, a museum, and a park with outdoor amphitheaters where many concerts and theatrical productions are hosted.

Apart from its robust academics, Marshall has over 230 student organizations, 20 fraternities and sororities, and 16 NCAA Division I sports teams that you can be a part of.
