School Description

Laurentian University offers a number of master's degree programs in English and French in subjects such as Humanities, Human Kinetics, Sociology, Business Administration, Architecture and Chemical Sciences. Courses provide hands-on experience, and field work and research opportunities. The University is home to over 12 Canada Research Chairs and several Industrial Research Chairs. 

The institute is also home to a number of research centres and institutes including the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Law and the Centre for Humanities Research & Creativity. In addition, the campus is offers a number of state-of-the-art learning and academic resources including a library, planetarium, observatory and several laboratories.
