School Description
Dublin International Foundation College (DIFC) was established in 1999 by Diarmuid Moroney, to deliver foundation courses to prepare international students for that will help prepare international students to attend universities in Ireland and the UK. DIFC has helped place more than 1000 students in its partner universities.
DIFC has 2 campuses, in Dublin and Cork. The Dublin campus is just a 15-minute walk from Dublin city centre, and contains eight computer labs as well as a student residence that is home to 600 students. The Cork campus is located just 15-minute walk from St Patrick’s Street, the main shopping street in Cork city centre. DIFC has access to over 40 University Partners across the world including 5 of the Top 100 Universities worldwide and has strong partnerships with 12 Institutions in Ireland and 11 in the United Kingdom. DIFC students are guaranteed a place in one of these institutions upon the completion of their DIFC course.

Financial Aid & Scholarship
DIFC offer part scholarships worth €2,800 for Foundation Year Medicine and €2,600 for all other Foundation courses are available for students studying in DIFC Cork in October 2018.

Due to our reputation for running quality foundation courses as a pathway to university entrance, DIFC has been appointed by NCUK as its exclusive delivery centre in Ireland for NCUK courses – the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) and NCUK Pre-Masters Preparation.
