School Description

Sault College was started initially as a vocational training centre in the year 1965 and it was then known as Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Vocational Centre (OVC). Sault College established itself as an applied college of arts and technology in the year 1973 following the beginning of Ontario province-wide system of establishing college of applied arts and technology in 1972.

Today, Sault College has evolved into a full-fledged higher learning institution that enrolls about 4,500 full-time and part-time students into its wide range of diploma programmes. Sault College offers diploma programmes in a number of academic areas including Aviation, Business, Culinary and Hospitality, Engineering Technology, General Arts and Science and more. Sault College campus is fully equipped with leading-edge technology in classrooms, recreational spaces, and residential areas.
