In the fall of 2010, the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) invited Mesa Community College, along with a cohort of other colleges and universities, to help develop and pilot a new accreditation process. This new process, called Pathways, has two focuses: Assurance and Improvement. Today, Mesa Community College has two campuses Southern and Dobson, in southwest Mesa and Red Mountain, in northeast Mesa.
