School Description

Irvine Valley College history began 1979 as Saddleback College North Campus and officially named Irvine Valley College in 1985. The college was named after the Irvine family and the company "Irvine" In July 1988. That same year, Irvine Valley College was accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, offering a two-year associate degrees, certificates and transferable programs into other colleges and universities. Today, Irvine Valley College also known as IVC is one of California's leading community colleges and one of Orange County's best known educational institutions. Over the past years, Irvine Valley College has received huge attraction from international students wishing to study abroad with its new facilities; A Performing Arts Center, Studio, Business and Innovation Center, Anthropology and Geography Lab. Irvine Valley College accommodates over 15,000 students and more than 400 academic staffs.
