School Description

Edmonds Community College was established in 1967 and managed by the Washington State Board and appointed by the sitting governor. The college is located on the site of a former U.S Army base, the Northwest Relay and Radio Receiving Station but later offered to Edmonds Community College on December 6, 1967. Edmonds Community College officially began classes in the fall of 1967 and partnered with Central Washington University to provide bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Administration at the Lynnwood Center.

Today, Edmonds Community College has over 20,000 students with access to educational infrastructures including 28 computer labs, 9 science labs, 3 eateries, a digital recording studio, an art gallery and a university satellite centre for Central Washington University. Edmonds Community College offers Associate programs in Arts, Sciences, Paralegal, Allied Health, Business, Construction Management and recently approved to offer Bachelors degrees and Master's program. Over 1,512 International students are represented from 62 countries
