School Description

Collin College also known as Collin County Community College District was founded in the year 1985. Collin County Community College District started with an initial enrollment of only 5,000 students in 1985. In the year 2007, Collin County Community College District changed its named to Collin College.

Today, Collin College has grown from serving just 5,000 students in 1985 to about 53,000 credit and continuing education students at present. Collin College offers more than 100 degrees and certificates in a wide range of disciplines. Collin College has expanded its higher education network through campuses and learning centres across six locations in Dallas and Rockwall county. These include the Central park campus at McKinney; Spring Creek campus at Plano; Preston Ridge campus at Frisco; Collin Higher education centre at McKinney; Allen centre at Allen and Rockwall centre at Rockwall.
