Cape Breton University (CBU) offers university-transfer degrees, certificate and diploma programs through its various faculties namely: Shannon School of Business, School of Professional Studies and School of Science and Technology.
Currently, home to approximately 3500 students, CBU offers a wide range of degrees including Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Education. CBU offers international student services including the International Student and Study Abroad Centre, International Centre For English Academic Preparation, The Learning Commons and Student Life Centre and Academic Success Coaching. All of these services provide international students access to personal counseling, academic help and career guidance. Additionally, students are offered on-campus residence and have off-campus accommodation options too.

Shannon School of Business at Cape Breton University offers a two-year-long post-graduate diploma in Business Management. This program is designed to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of topics related to business; management; finance; economics; marketing; customers operations; communication; information technology; business policy; and strategy.
CAD 17,020 Tuition Fee
The School of Science and Technology at Cape Breton University offers a two-year-long Engineering transfer program. This program is designed to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of the fundamentals of Engineering. The program offers courses that focus on the study of mathematical, scientific and technological principles in reference to the design of engines, machines, structures, and electrical systems.

The School of Professional Studies at Cape Breton University offers a full-time Human Nutrition transfer program. This program is designed to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of Nutrition Science. The program offers courses that focus on food science, microbiology, dietetics, nutrition, and clinical nutritional care.

Shannon School of Business at Cape Breton University offers a two-year-long full-time postgraduate diploma in Supply Chain Management. This program is designed to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of the principles of Supply Chain Management. The program offers courses that focus on the study of acquisitions and purchasing; inventory control; storage and handling; manufacturing; logistics planning; shipping and delivery management; transportation; quality control; resource estimation and allocation; and budgeting.

Financial Aid & Scholarship
Students are offered a range of entrance scholarships from $500 per year to $2,000 per year; these scholarships are awarded after reviewing the student’s application and financial need. In-course awards are offered to high-achieving students after completing one year of study at CBU (minimum 24 credits). Additionally, students are offered both entrance and in-course bursaries based on their application and financial need.
